To see if a local dial-up number is available in your area, go to the start of the sign-upform.

By selecting your Province and nearest community you will be presented with all available numbers in your area. Please ensure that the number provided is a local call, otherwise you may incur long distance charges from your telephone company.

7? What is Fastnet service web acceleration?

Ispnetwave  uses advanced web acceleration technology to increase the speed of dial-up access up to 19 times faster than ordinary dial-up. It's only available with the Accelerated Plan.

Surf the web, get e-mail and search results faster over your current phone line without the high cost of DSL or cable high speed services.

8? How does web acceleration work?

The Fastnet   Service web accelerator speeds up your Internet access by compressing images and text on web pages before they are sent to your phone line. The compressed data travels over your phone line faster because there is less of it. Fastnet Accelerated Internet Service also stores elements of frequently visited web sites so that they load faster on future visits.

There is no additional equipment to install nor is there any additional configuration of your modem necessary. You simply have to download the Fastnet Internet Service web acceleration software to get the faster speeds from your computer's standard 56K modem. It's easy to install and doesn't include any annoying adware or spyware.

9? What is pop-up blocking?

Fastnet Internet Service web acceleration can also be used to block annoying pop-up advertising from invading your computer. Web acceleration and pop-up blocker are only included with the ISPnetwave Accelerated Plan.

10? Do I need to have the Netscape browser to use Ispnetwave Internet Service?

No. ISPnetwave Internet Service can be used with any standard web browser, whether it's the Netscape , Microsoft Internet Explorer, or another browser.

With our ISPnetwave Accelerated Plan we recommend that you use Internet Explorer version 5.0 or higher or Netscape Communicator 7.0 or higher for the best results.

11? Will Ispnetwave Internet Service support my computer's operating system and web browser?

Yes, we have service plans that will work with your computer. Our Unlimited Plan for $8.50/month works with Windows computers and no software downloads are required.

To surf at speeds of up to 19x faster* with our ISPnetwave Accelerated Plan for $12.50/month you will need to install the Fastnet Internet Service web acceleration software. Fastnet
